Boboism in the Headlights

“Had I been reading to children and had my top aide whisper in my ear that America is under attack, I would have told those kids very nicely and politely that the president of the United States has something that he needs to attend to." -- Big John
Point Taken: Bobo's 9/11 performance

“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.” -- Bobo
Bobo's Seeking 'New Ways to Harm Our Country'

"It was the same kind of deal that was pulled on me,” comparing the anti-Kerry ad to tactics in his bitter Republican primary fight with President Bush. "But I think the Bush campaign should specifically condemn the ad.”
Case Closed: McCain deplores anti-Kerry ad

It is a cancerous swill packaged in a sparkling new bottle. A monument to everything greedy, low and mean about the human spirit, a filthy reflection of a lewd and indecent time that more or less seems to be the title track of our times. Bobo is a master politician because he understands the game being played out today, and he's probably a lot more fun to hang and travel around with than I ever suspected.

"Let's face it, Bubba. The main reason I'll vote for Clinton is George Bush, and it has been that way from the start....There is no way around it (for me) and no reason to apologize for it. George Bush is a dangerously failed President and half-bright top-level Nerd who has spent the last four years avoiding grocery stores and gas stations while he tried to keep tabs on the disastrous fallout from the orgy of greed and short selling that was the "Reagan Revolution." He has dutifully presided over what he and his people have believed all along is the End of the American Century - the inevitable collapse of an impossible Democracy brought low by [Blacks], Unions and Dope Fiends. He has no more real faith in the future of America than he does in the future of Iraq, and in his heart he is not eager to do FOUR MORE YEARS in the Big House and go down in history as another Herbert Hoover. -- HST on Bobo's Daddy (sound familiar?).

So, the good saying goes, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I have had very little faith in our child President's ability to make decisions since he picked Repo as the V.P. For our friends to the right, I know this is something you dispute and it doesn't mean a full endorsement of the man with three purple hearts. And if you happen to have a loved one serving in the U.S. Army, you'll find very little comfort in the reality that you see with your own two eyes. The $87 billion vote aside, if we're debating that at the congressional level after we sent the troops -- I repeat, so you hear it closely ... after we sent the troops -- understand that I am taking no pleasure in being correct in my point of view. It is immensely disheartening to have to do this, because no one wants to bet against the home team. But the body armor should have been waiting for the troops when they touched down in Kuwait. Every one in this corrupt Administration short-changed the Iraqis and they know it. Covering it up in the vote of 12 U.S. Senators is like telling a basketball player, "if you gotta jump in front of a train, wear Reeboks." It just don't add up.

The country is in the worst shape of my lifetime, and it doesn't take a left-leaning independent to point this out. And the soonest prediction I can shape is that it will take at least 20 years to turn the cruise ship that is media, politics and public opinion. The complete failure of this assuredly criminal Administration can come none too soon for average folks like you and me. The massive orgy of rape and plundering of our environment, politics and treasury has been on the scale of Pol Pot to the Cambodian countryside, detroying the lives of millions of Americans and washing it aside with an adroit, sociopathic tilt of the head. You and me, homeboy - we are going to suffer for accepting slogan as truth, media as certain, de-regulation as good for the people. We bought it hook, line and sinker, but the lake is completely fished-out about now, bubba.

Something is incredibly wrong in any civilized society when a monumental, backwoods failure of a leader who can't speak the language can scare our national TV networks so completely and doesn't get a little pushback for it. This is not Daddy's war, nor is it a logical extension of the first attempt. The last half of the 20th Century was built for little rich kids with trust funds who want to party and play on a dime. The party is over, folks, but we have this form of selective amnesia when it comes to Bobo and his den of thieves. We are sick country today, and the disease will take us over if we don't get rid of the dim-witted retard who put us here in the first place. If you think I am "spinning" this, ask yourself this simple question:

Would you feel at ease showing your American passport in any nation where they have a democratically elected leader?

If you answered yes, we already know you watch Fox and have your head in the sand. Because the truth is this: we are going to get our behinds kicked in Iraq. Make no mistake about it. Not because we lack the power, conviction or resources. But simply because we weren't on the right side of history, my friends left and right. Hearts and minds. Truth or dare. Iraq will have been the fifth consecutive time that a backward, third-world country without anything resembling a modern navy or air force beat us in the past 50 years.

The truth will set you free. Get Bobo his lithium -- it's going to be a long, hard summer.
